Stéphane Troussier

Stéphane Troussier, born in Paris, is a figure in the free climbing of the 80s and 90s, mountain guide since 1981 and alpine ski instructor since 1983. He officiates at the office of the Guide des Écrins, in the Hautes-Alpes in France. "I was born in Paris, I lived there until the age of 18. I then migrated permanently to the Hautes Alpes in 1976. Since my adolescence I wanted to become a Guide and I was passionate about the mountains and climbing. I have also become a ski and ski touring enthusiast. My job allows me to realize that going through the mountains, whatever the altitude or must be difficult, remains a serious game with rules that I strive for. to respect.
