Keith Richards was born in 1962 to Dr and Mrs Richards. He grew up in Haslemere in Surrey and had a passion for acting from an early age often using his parents and other friends curtains as an entrance to perform some skit or other. Apart from a promising sporting and chess related prep and public school education Keith chose the 3 year professional acting course at Mountview Theatre School in London as the basis for a career. On graduating following being selected for a Shakespeare tour to the USA and graduating playing the lead in Equus Keith acquired his Equity Card in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar in Stafford. This was followed by a number of training, theatre and video credits leading to being cast in the small part of Mick in Playing Away his first feature film. Sadly family related events compelled a career change for many years which led Keith into business and a corporate career. After leading an MBO Keith acquired managed and built a software and services business and helped support ailing parents, one sadly with dementia. It is only in 2023 that Keith has been free to return to his chosen career and to date he has appeared in a mix of adverts and short films.
