Sircaar Rimppa

Sutapa Sircar (born 26 March 1992) known mononymously as Rimppa Sircar, is an Indian film actress/director. She attended St. Mary's Convent School in Barbil and was actively involved in extra-curricular activities such as dancing, drama. The daughter of Tapati Sircar and Shankar Sircar, Rimppa Sircaar started her journey in film industry as an actress in a regional language ( Gujarati ) since 2006. She made her acting debut with O Pataldi (2006) at the age of 24. She did films like Sasriye Lila Leher Che ( 2009 ), Sathi Re Saath Na Chute ( 2011 ) , Zu Zu Zumba Zu ( 3d movie in gujarati ). Rimppa's performance was noticed and has signed her for a tv serial Poorna Katha Shri Swaminarayan Bhagwan Ki for NDTV Imagine, later she got an another show for Colors named Dekh Video Dekh. Excluding this she has performed in music albums for T-series, Venus and many more. She was also seen in few dramas like Tasher Desh ( bengali ) & Fairy Tale ( English ) which made her confidence to come forward and work in bollywood as an actor. In the 2014 Rimppa Sircaar started her career in direction with a renowened director Mr. Rafiq Abdul in Code Red Talaash. Later she kept working in Savdhan India, Crime patrol, Jai Ho Bharti ( D.D. Kissan ), Bhakti sagar ( Ganga Channel ). She also directed few short movies like Note Bandi( 2016 ), music album like Tu hi hai ( Rudra Entertainment , 2017 ), Tum hi ho ( 2017 ) and many more. Presently she has been noticed in a web series Chatrachaya ( 2021 ) playing a character as Rani Bai. Rimppa Sircaar's upcoming short film "Cue Kya Tha" directed by Megh Patil will be seen soon on OTT.
