Joseph Genua

Joseph Genua is a director, writer, and actor. He was born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut, and started his career in entertainment on-stage in theater. He migrated to sketch comedy in his teens, and became interested in flipping his comedic writing into horror using his fascination of science fiction and mythological concepts. His first professional short released in 2021 where he starred as Simon Thompson, the first tape in an analog horror series he created. Aside from working on the series, he continues to focus on writing and directing dramas and horrors, with comedic elements sprinkled in between. Joseph made his official directorial debut in 2023, with his science-fiction/drama, I'm With You.
