Owen Brendan Hargraves was born in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, to Gary and Carole Hargraves. He grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee as the youngest of 6 children. His mother worked full time as a mother and homeschool teacher; his father was an engineer for TVA. At a very early age, he demonstrated a love and passion for impersonating popular cartoon characters. At the age of 9, he began starring in high school productions of Gilbert and Sullivan musicals (even though he was technically underaged). By age 10 he was occupying lead roles and developing his talent for singing. After graduating from high school in 2010, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and still serves to this day in the Tennessee Air National Guard in the field of engineering. In 2014, he married his high school sweetheart, Rebekah Ann Shadoin. They currently have 2 children, Anna and James, and live in their family home in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Since being married, he has starred in local theater productions in his community such as the Wizard of Oz and Mary Poppins. While he has no college credits for acting, he believes in passion and hard work in the arts, as well as representing Christ in his behavior and performances. Hargraves has been a devout Christian for most of his life and believes in bettering his God-given talent while acknowledging its designer.
