Negine Sekandari

Negine Jasmine Sekandari is an Afghan writer, actress, and photographer based in Los Angeles. Her ancestral roots in Afghanistan inspire her work as a storyteller to integrate themes of humor, community, beauty, and romanticism into the work she creates. Recently, she's been flirting more and more with the world of acting and comedy. She follows the idea of Abbas Kiarostami, who described art-making as a responsibility, as analyzing individual human experience, and as a way to find oneself within that subjectivity.
