Fabiola (Fab) Reno was born on May 25, 1977 in Managua, Nicaragua to Ana Armas (a homemaker and fantastic cook) and Jorge Espinosa (an archaeologist and writer) during the civil war. At age 6, her father received an offer from LSU and the family was granted political asylum in 1983. She was the eldest of 3 (has a younger brother and sister) who were all raised by their mother (a hard-working housekeeper) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, after her parents divorced shortly after arriving in Louisiana. She attended Bernard Terrace Elementary, where she became the president of her elementary school and was a gymnast and leader. She was accepted into McKinley Middle Magnet, where she continued her gymnastics training under Coach Garcia and where she discovered her deep love for music and performance. She later attended Broadmoor High and Southeastern Louisiana University where she graduated with her B.A. in Marketing and her Master's in Teaching. She went on to teach both K-12 Spanish and also became a Talented Theater Director for the local school districts. She got married in college to her high school sweetheart in 1999 and they enjoyed designing and building custom homes as well as running a few family businesses during those early years. A couple of years later they had two daughters during their 10 year marriage (divorced in 2010) and continued raising their children in Denham Springs, LA. Her daughters, Maris and Bellah continue to be her pride and joy and a great source of inspiration as they excel in their own education and careers. Years later, Fab was overjoyed to get an offer from FOX & NBC (the same station where she had applied 20 years prior as a very young college grad but was told to go out and get experience first...so she did so) and dived into all things television, writing, acting, voiceover, and continued directing. She was not only directing, starring in, writing and creating many incredible television campaigns & commercials but also continued submitting audition reels for independent films and national and international commercial campaigns. She was booked within the first month that she submitted reels and auditioned for roles nationally and internationally. Her most recent roles and bookings include: Queen of the South, Sacrifice, Five Days at Memorial, The Winchesters, Average Joe, and Carry On (starring Taron Egerton( Rocketman, Black Bird). Some of her current local campaigns include: Touro LCMC and The Office of Louisiana Tourism (Explore Louisiana) which will add NY Times Square, Billboard and Rolling Stones to her resume'. She enjoys dancing, singing, working with fantastic cast and crews and introducing others to great Louisiana cuisine and music. She currently lives in Baton Rouge, LA which is near the New Orleans area.
