Serge Paquette

-Serge Paquette is an accountant by training, having spent his career with a major industrial company in the region. He was elected municipal councillor for Blainville's Saint-Rédempteur ward (in the province of Quebec, Canada) in 1997, and in this capacity has made a major contribution to the well-being of the municipality's seniors and families. In particular, he was involved in the development of the MADA policy for seniors and the child-friendly municipality policy. With his wife, he has been involved for many years in 'La Popote à Roland', a seniors' drop-in centre. He is also a director of the Centre d'excellence sur glace and a member of the Board of Directors of the Office d'habitation Thérèse de Blainville.
