Jay V Rivera, born in Puerto Rico, is a versatile professional with a rich background spanning education and entertainment. With 20 years as a history teacher and service as a US Coast Guard reservist, Jay brings a unique perspective to his multifaceted career. During his college years, he began recording commercials; and later went on to host his own shows and work as a commentator for the Puerto Rican professional basketball league. After moving to Miami in 2016, he continued his passion for teaching and recording commercials. Jay's foray into acting began unexpectedly when a talent agent encouraged him to take professional pictures. This chance opportunity led to his debut role in the Applet TV show, Bad Monkey, and he has since appeared in various commercials and television shows. An active presence on social media, Jay engages his audience through his TikTok account, @worldhistorylifelessons, where he shares educational content with a global following.
