From an early age, Maya Lovee knew she was destined for the screen. Her fascination with acting began the moment she understood that the people on TV were portraying characters, sparking a lifelong dream to become an actress. Even as a young student, when teachers asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, Maya confidently shared her ambition to act, undeterred by the curiosity or surprise of her classmates. Acting, for her, was more than a goal; it was a true passion. Maya began pursuing acting professionally at age 10, when her mother enrolled her in acting classes, arranged for professional head-shots, and began submitting her for casting sites. Over the years, she gained invaluable experience, working in over ten independent, student, and short films and even participating in background roles for major television productions to learn the ropes of a professional set. At 13, Maya booked her a role in the mini-series *Marvelous Southside Crew.* However, the onset of Covid required an extended rehearsal and filming period over the next two years. During high school, Maya decided to pause acting to focus on her education and cheer leading, where she dedicated herself as a Varsity Basketball cheerleader for all four years. She also embraced a new creative outlet, launching a successful YouTube channel where she discovered a talent for video storytelling, editing her vlogs with cinematic style and detail. Now a high school graduate, Maya is fully committed to pursuing her acting career. She is currently training at Drama Inc. in Atlanta, one of the city's premier acting schools, refining her skills and preparing for more complex, professional roles. Maya's natural charisma and ease in front of the camera make her a compelling talent with an innate ability to engage audiences. What started as a childhood passion has evolved into a powerful calling-to bring diverse characters to life and share stories that resonate universally.
