KeSean "Sean Black" Johnson, was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. His creative streak started as a youngster performing hip hop music and searching for a record deal. After high school, he attended college at Southern University and A&M college. It was at that school where he attained the moniker Sean Black which would later become his stage name. After failing out of a couple of colleges and beginning a career in the military, he noticed that he had a passion for film as well as music and he set out on the path to starting school (again)! While stationed in Germany he attended Full Sail University online where he graduated as the Valedictorian with a Bachelor of Sciences in Digital Cinematography. He also attended Berkley College of Music where he became certified as a live audio engineer. While stationed in Germany, he was assigned to the United States Army in Europe Band and Chorus, where he began work as an audio shop supervisor. While in this position he turned the audio department into a full-scale production staff adding lighting and video to their repertoire. During his tenure in the Army he was attended three of four levels of the Non-Commissioned Officer's Education System, which taught management and leadership. Always the consummate professional, he has parlayed his skill set into a position with a government television agency where he earned an Emmy award! He is now working with several companies to release content this summer into the fall, not only for television and big screen but he has also decided to return to his roots and advise the careers of some musicians.
