Fred Ross was an agitator and educator that inspired people of all races to overcome despair and fear. Ross was a pioneer for racial and economic justice. He organized "Dust Bowl" refugees that John Steinbeck wrote about. In the 1950's, he inspired both Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta. He leaves a long legacy of advocacy.
