Takira Shabrae

Takira Shabrae' is a host and on-camera personality, based in Los Angeles CA. She was born in Rockwood, Tennessee and raised by a single mother. Takira's love for people started by simply working retail as a personal stylist at a small boutique in Tennessee. The intimate time spent getting to know her clients made her realize there was more to her job than just clothes. That passion led to her award-winning involvement in the community; assisting in efforts to aid inner city schools, student financial achievement, and under privileged families. Takira was definitely a boss in her field, moving up the corporate latter of achievements rather quickly. At one point being the youngest female manager in her area. In 2016, she stepped outside or her corporate "nine to five" job in sales and moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue her dreams of working in the entertainment & film industry. While attending hosting classes, Takira naturally met new friends and offered herself as a volunteer and addition to any production team that needed the extra help. This eventually led her to AfterBuzz TV Networks, where she hosted live after-shows for popular TV shows like The Handmaid's Tale (2017) , The Alienist: Angel of Darkness (2018) , 13 Reasons Why (2017) , Queen Sugar (2016) , Love Is_ (2018) , and The Sinner (2017) . Takira found that her leading aspiration is to be a voice of survival instinct, to educate and uplift others to be the best versions of themselves through TV and film! Every chance she gets, she works to improve her craft of connecting to viewers by offering an authentic, engaging, and unwavering personality. Most recently, Takira is a host with AfterBuzz TV & Black Hollywood Live. There, she appears on live after-shows and red carpet events. Takira graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Entrepreneurship (2011).
