MK Ansari

MK Ansari is a Canadian born writer living in Silicon Valley. She began her writing career as a legal journalist and transitioned into content programming, where she worked with various small Hollywood studios on show treatments and pitches for major networks. She is known best for her work depicting the first-generation Muslim and Pakistani narrative, inspired by works such as The Night Of and Ramy. She is also an active mental health advocate working to erase the mental health stigma in the Muslim and South Asian communities. She is the co-host of The Good Girl Playbook Podcast, a podcast that features fearless women who violate the rules.
