Biography

While studying Directing at Reed College, Dunn-Walker signed with Muse Model Management and moved to Paris where she acted in both experimental art house films and big-budget commercials. While working in Paris, she wrote, directed, and produced several plays, and took French language acting courses at Cours Florent drama school and with Jack Waltzer of the Actor's Studio. Her first play, The Dressingroom, premiered at Le Fondation des Etas Unis. This same year Dunn-Walker appeared in two issues of British Vogue as a model. After being told she wasn't skinny enough to continue modeling professionally, Dunn-Walker began focusing more heavily on writing and directing for the theater. Her second play, Across the River Styx, appeared in several theaters across Paris and Montreuil, including La Guillotine and Theatre de la Feux de la Rampe. Her third and longest play, Cowabunga!
