Elena Marotta was born in Italy in 1995. Her interest for performing arts began when she was little: she played in various school recitals and she sang for one of the most important choirs in Rome. Growing up, she decided to study Modern and Jazz singing. In 2012 she took her Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Management for Arts, Culture and Communication at Bocconi University in Milan and she then specialised in film production with a Master's Degree in Filmmaking, Producing at Goldsmiths University of London. In 2014 she attended a summer course in Screen Acting at LAMDA. During her time living in London, she took part in different short and feature films, sometimes as producer and some other times as actress. Her upcoming project is the feature film "Misbehaviour" directed by Philippa Lowthorpe, in which she plays Carmen Gomez, Miss Gibraltar.
