Born in Dallas, Texas, Jonathan Jordan won his first writing accolades as a two-time winner of the Texas Educational Theatre Association's (TETA) PlayFest Contest in 2002 and 2003. At the University of North Texas, he earned a degree in English Literature in 2007 and then entered the field of social work while studying screenwriting. He was discovered when he won the Stage32 Feature Screenwriting Contest (2017) for the un-produced screenplay "Golden Girl." This success led to meeting producer Cybill Lui to become the screenwriter for a sports drama/biopic based on the life of Olympic diver Victoria Manalo Draves. He is represented by Verve Talent & Literary Agency in Los Angeles and managed by Settebello Entertainment.
