Brian Pater

Brian Pater was born in Portland Oregon on April 22, 1995 - a fitting "Earth Day Birthday." After a variety of experiences on stage, in short Indies and commercials - and more singing performances than he can recall - Brian enrolled in Bristol Old Vic Theatre School's MA Programme in Professional Acting (International), graduating in August 2019. Brian is attracted to roles that involve honesty and portray complex human situations (one of the reasons he is so drawn to Shakespeare and similar creators.) For him, energy and being "connected" rule! Brian relishes movement and voice. He has taught Parkour/Freerunning and archery. And has enjoyed his Stage Combat training under the esteemed Jonathan Howell, Head of Movement, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Additionally, Brian has also trained in epee, sabre, Western boxing, some Eastern martial arts and other movement forms. And his vocal masters include Mark Bosnian and Carol Fairlamb. And he likes to laugh. A lot.
