Troy Marc Dawes

Troy Marc Dawes, born November 18th 1997 was raised in blizzard-territory Winnipeg, Manitoba. A true cold-blooded filmmaker. At the age of 13, he worked and bought a new camcorder that introduced him into the world of visual storytelling. Creating improv-based skits and short films. He self taught his way into becoming a soon-to-be filmmaker. Years after, he produced his first short film "FACE YOUR FEARS" (2018) and premiered it locally at the Dramatic Arts Center theater. The short film was met with all-round praise, unknowingly to Troy a producer in-house previewed the film and offered Troy his first official film-based opportunity as props master for "IN PLAIN SIGHT" (2019). Troy now has since produced multiple films and series, became a member of IATSE 856, and opened his production company PRISMATIC PICTURES. This has enabled him to now produce large scale feature films. The future of Prismatic Pictures seeks to enable artists to produce their ideal films with creative freedom and placing the bar as high as you can reach. No dream is out of reach.
