Ashley Yeates

Ashley Yeates, Host "A Cowboy's Song" A licensed attorney in the State of Texas, Ashley combines business practicalities of law with an artistic passion for design, education, and preservation. Ashley grew up in a small West Texan town on family ranches with an oil and gas entrepreneur father and artist mother. Her love for nature and creative mind started by exploring the land. Leaving the West Texas upbringing behind, Ashley studied psychology and journalism in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and London before graduating Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. She briefly practiced Commercial Litigation while co-hosting a nightly radio show on KRLD in Dallas, Texas. It was through the process of decorating her Dallas home, Ashley was encouraged to change professions. A childhood love for "making things beautiful" and years of perfecting her environments had been overlooked as a natural talent. Ashley, President, and Director of AYI & Associates established the design firm in 2002, she is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers. The design firm grew into a lifestyle line "AYI Style" incorporating residential, commercial and hospitality design with her original furniture line "The Ashley Yeates Collection." She is currently creating Monterey, California's first Design Center, 65,000 square feet of tradesmen and branding the concept "The Guild" as a means to promote local craftsmanship. As host of A Cowboy's Song, Ashley is back to her ranch and journalistic roots capturing the stories of talented country musicians across the United States providing fans a peek into their lives and thoughts while writing songs on the spot. 10/2/2018
