Cheryl Nathan is a Filipino-British filmmaker and photographer, based in Los Angeles. In 2016, she moved to the US from the Philippines to pursue an education and a career in filmmaking. In 2020, she graduated from Columbia College Hollywood, and now holds a BFA in Cinema with an emphasis in Producing. At the age of 15, she successfully established a small photography business in the Philippines under the name, CNathan Photography, as well as her own independent production company, OraVio Productions. Over the last few years, she has been actively involved with the non-profit film organization, FilAm Creative, was recognized and awarded in the Top 10 for her short documentary, "MasterChef's Ralph Degala: A Journey To Success", and was selected for a year-long fellowship with Creative Visions to work on the Women Excel Project. In the next stages of her career, Cheryl aims to create more films that revolve around the struggles of mental health through different and realistic perspectives. In her spare time, she teaches filmmaking and photography lessons to children with disabilities.
