Daniel Hart was cast to costar in the made for TV movie, The Confetti, after Producer Edward Harlaque saw him performing in a western reenactment. Hart was scheduled to appear in a scene and upon arrival was given impromptu dialogue. At the end of the day, Harlaque knew he had found the actor he had been looking for to portray the Constable character in The Confetti. Hart has been performing reenactments since 2010, in the genres of 18th century piracy and 19th century western. Prior to performing Hart was a law enforcement executive, retiring as the Chief of Police. Hart's experiences in police work, graduation from the FBI National Academy and numerous appearances on television and radio during his career, have served him well in acting and also with consulting on law enforcement issues. Hart was born in Tampa, Florida in 1950. He grew up in Tampa. His family eventually moved to Moore Haven in Glades County, South Florida where he attended high school. After graduation in 1968, Hart enlisted in the military serving four years in the Air Force. Upon discharge in 1972, Hart began his law enforcement career.
