Samir Raees

Samir Raees is an actor and filmmaker. Born in South Africa, he moved to New York as a teenager, where he graduated from New York Film Academy. He officially began his acting career soon after, with a prominent role in the 2018 film 'Uns,' which was a hit at film festivals around the world. His extensive formal training and natural stage instincts continued to make him a sought after actor, as he went on to appear in several short films. Born of Indian descent, Samir grew up watching Hindi films as well as films made in Hollywood. His diverse cultural influences are one of his biggest strengths, as he integrates different traditions into his characters and scripts. He is dedicated to observing the lives of people around him and using that to create realistic stories that audiences can easily relate to. When he isn't working on films, Samir likes to spend his free time playing basketball and working out at the gym. He is a passionate music fan, and loves traveling the world, meeting new people, and having new experiences.
