Lillie Silva-Muir is an LA-based actor, born-and-raised in Southern California. She has been performing, and training in acting, singing and dancing since the age of four. In 2016, she received the "Jerry Herman Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical" for her role as Mae in The Pajama Game at the La Habra Theater Guild. Within her college career, she was cast in Blamed: An Established Fiction (dir. by Callie Prendiville) at the Hollywood Fringe. This dance and story-telling piece was selected to perform Off-Broadway at the Soho Playhouse. She has been in several main stage productions in the UCLA School of Theater Film and Television including Trojan Barbie (dir. Beth Lopes), The Kitchen (dir. Michael Hackett), and Scorched (dir. Aya Saleh). In 2017, Lillie was in the first all Latina production to be done at UCLA, Mala Hierba, directed by Sylvia Blush, and this past Fall, she was in the LATC's at-home run and tour of La Victima, directed by José Luis Valenzuela. She has had a passion for "Classical Theatre," including Shakespeare and Golden-Age Musical Theater, but struggled to find stories where she felt represented. She hopes to create work that marries the classics with her community, in the hopes of creating a more equalized, and diverse future in the arts.
