Glenn Newland

Glenn Newland was born in Louisville Kentucky and attended Webster College, in Webster Groves Missouri. His first professional acting job was at Actors Theater of Louisville in 1970 where he played Nick Burns in "A Thousand Clowns", where he had the opportunity to work with Ken Jenkins. Later that year he had the opportunity to work on another professional stage production with Victor Jory, in "Our Town". After Graduating from Webster College where he studied photography and cinematography, he went on to work at Motion Picture laboratories and Post production facilities in San Francisco, Miami and Los Angeles and at IMAX, supporting cinematographers, editors and production teams, post production teams and distribution executives. In 2018 Glenn decided to get back into acting starting with background work for television and major motion picture projects. His first background job was on Grand-Daddy Day Care (2019). In 2018 Glenn also began getting involved with short films and independent projects on the pre-production and production side. Glenn has been a singer with multiple choirs, as well, and has enjoyed opportunities to perform solos and some voice over work for live events and short films.
