Born in Stuart, Florida in 1989, Austin Taylor Jacobs is a writer, director, and producer who grew up with a passion for films and storytelling. In 2017, he began work with the crew at Florida Film Producers and Depressed Panda Productions as both a writer and a director. Since then, he has also worked as a cinematographer on several short films including What's the Matter, Skeeter Jones? (2019), Grandpa Frank (2019), There's a Girl in the Trunk (2020), and Burning Matches (2020). Austin Taylor Jacobs is best known for his work as a writer and director on Great is our Sin (2018), which was chosen as an official selection of the Central Florida Film Festival. He also worked as the writer and cinematographer on Grandpa Frank (2019), winner of the Best Comedy Short (Accord Cine Fest) and the Audience Choice Best Short Award (Uruvatti International Film Festival), in addition to being an official selection at the Direct Monthly Online Film Festival (DMOFF). Austin Taylor Jacobs works in Orlando, Florida at Unity Films as the Chief Operations Officer where he writes, directs, and produces short and feature-length films and episodic series.
