Charles Mugaviri Jr. is a co-founder at Invision Studios and a film director, producer and editor from Harare, Zimbabwe. Since he began his career in 2011 he has done extensive production work in Zimbabwe under Invision Studios. He co-produced 48 short films in 2014 from January to October in various locations around Zimbabwe. The short films were executive produced by Invision Studios under their film community development program titled "In Short" and distributed by ZBC (Zimbabwe Broadcasting Authority) and Kwese iFlix. In 2015 Charles co-wrote and directed his debut feature film Far From Yesterday which featured Zimbabwe's songstress Ammara Brown. The film's lead role (then 7 year-old Hannah Madzikanda) was awarded "Actress of the Year" at the Zimbabwe International Women Awards (2015 Edition). Charles co-produced his first TV show "Wine & Dine with Tumi" which become one of the first productions to air on M-Net's Zambezi Magic from Zimbabwe. In 2016 he co-produced "Metro Sound", a 13-episode music video playlist TV show which aired on ZBC. The third TV show he co-produced and edited is "Wedding Diaries". The TV show aired on Zambezi Magic the same year. In 2017 Charles co-produced and was cinematographer for the romantic comedy "Accidental Small House", a feature film written and directed by Denise Edwards. The film premiered on Zambezi Magic in February 2018. In 2018 Charles co-produced Zimbabwe's first dance film, "Love and Dance". He was the cinematographer on the production and the main online editor for the film. (In the same year) he also co-wrote and directed his second feature film titled "The Prophet" which is also being distributed by M-Net.
