Ali Alsaleh is an Iraqi-born American actor and writer. He and his family fled the country in early 2000s as political refugees, seeking asylum in Nashville, TN. Since immigrating, Ali graduated with Honors from the University of Tennessee College of Architecture and Design and has continued his studies, working as an architect in Nashville. He has written and produced several short films. His latest work is a TV comedy series he wrote and is co-starring in (Typecast) about actors navigating the film world and the real world, as modern minorities.
