Marshall Murphy

Marshall Murphy was born and raised in Hamilton, ON, Canada. He has always had a passion for film and writing, and knew at a young age that one day he would get into the film industry. "As a child, I once spent all of my birthday money buying every 80s campy horror movie I could get my hands on, always dreaming about writing and directing the next big slasher film when I grew up. Those dreams have not faded. I have since expanded my love for film and have directed my passion towards accomplishing academic, professional, and personal goals to help me achieve my dreams". "In all aspects of my life, I gravitate towards three things: ever changing innovation, expressing creativity, and an unbridled need to overcome any challenge put before me. For this reason, my interests span a multitude of areas and disciplines. These range anywhere from writing genre fiction to analyzing the impact of film in society, reviewing every piece of horror fiction I can get my hands on, to experiencing media with the lowest Metacritic scores. I always strive to demonstrate the most effective, creative solution to a problem, regardless of the effort needed to accomplish it."
