He's a costarican screenwriter and filmmaker, a psychiatrist with a Master's degree in Directing and Producing Digital Film (University of La Laguna, Spain), who also took film directing courses (Sundance Collab) and screenwriting courses (New York Film Academy). His first short film, "Insomnio", was shown in several film festivals, receiving best film, director, and writing awards. His second short, "Sudden Death", was selected in film festivals such as HBO New York Latino, NewFilmmakers Los Angeles and The Academy Latino Event at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater and many others. His third short film is in production and has been a finalist in many screenplay competitions like ScreenCraft, WeScreenplay, BlueCat, TSL, LA Shorts, HollyShorts and many others. That short script won the International Grand Prize Award at the 37th Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival. It's the proof of concept of his first feature screenplay of the same name: "Blood and Ash".
