Guillermo Ramírez was born in Tepatitlán de Morelos, Jalisco. Ramírez began his acting career as a child, working in the acting local club know as "El Club" in Tepatilán in a variety of plays. He appeared in film school exercises and short films. Ramírez studied acting in the Glow Artes Escénicas in Guadalajara. When he was seventeen he filmed a movie called Vaselinitos. Crimen por Omisión was his first feature film as actor directed by Jaime Humberto Hermosillo.
