Yasmeen El Hawary

Yasmeen Elhawary is a professional Egyptian actress and dancer based in Cairo and LA. She started acting in theater in 2006, then starred in kids TV shows until 2009. She has a BA in filmmaking with honors from the high institute of cinema of Cairo, along with diplomas in Psychology and fashion design. She started working as a professional actress officially in 2016. She is best known for her work in the Egyptian television shows "Kelmet serr" and "Abwab elshakk". And also her role in the short film "Youth" which won 1st place in the palm springs film festival and was Oscars qualified. While Yasmeen is a vocally trained actress, she is also a former principle dancer in one of the Cairo opera house's dance companies. Her repertoire includes: Carmen, Chopiniana, Black swan, Kitri and Soma. She started pursuing her MFA in acting for screen at NYFA, Burbank, CA in 2021.
