Brian Lindsay

Brian Lindsay is a published theatre and film historian. He was awarded a PhD from the University of New South Wales for his thesis "Darkening Frontier, Vanishing Outback: Film, Landscape and National Identities in Australia and the United States." His books "Category Fraud" and "Film Awards: A Reference Guide to US & UK Film Awards" (four volumes) have been published by Tranter Ward Books and are available through Amazon. His articles about the Academy Awards have appeared in The Sydney Morning Herald and The Australian. Passionate about film and theatre history, he lives in Sydney, Australia with his husband, Simon.
