Joseph Al Ahmad

Joseph Al Ahmad is a multilingual actor and director born in Sofia and based in Los Angeles. His mother, Jacqueline, is a Black journalist of Nubian, Bulgarian, and quarter-Greek descent, and his father, Mohamed, is a university professor from Syria. Joseph is fluent in English, Bulgarian, Russian, Levantine Arabic, and earned his MFA in Film and Theatre from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematic Arts in 2020, before establishing his base in Los Angeles in 2021, along with his primary base in his hometown Sofia, Bulgaria. Known for A Christmas Story Christmas (2022), Above the Clouds (2018), and for directing Motives (2018) , Chase (2022).
