Rajiul Huda Dipto is a Bangladeshi author, screenplay writer, podcaster, poet, lyricist and photographer. He was born in Chapai Nawabganj district of Bangladesh. His first book The Book of Pragmatic Fairy Tales got published in 2019. He is the co-founder of podcast channel So, We Say!; one of the best and highly streamed podcast channels from Bangladesh. Rajiul has established his name as a screenplay writer and working for years in the Bangladeshi television industry. He made his debut as a screenplay writer in 2016. Besides that, he loves to introduce himself as a photographer, whose photographs have been featured in various magazines and exhibitions all around the world. Not regularly, but he publishes his works in national dailies as well. Rajiul started his academic career in Green View High School. After finishing primary level there, he moved and got admission in Harimohan Govt, High School and after SSC he got admitted in Nawabganj Govt. College. After HSC, Rajiul moved to Dhaka. He got chance in East West University. He is completing his BA Honours in English. He started as a poet. He, his younger brother and his teacher came up with an idea of publishing their own book. They published their book full of poems and it was named End Of The Boundary. This tiny book got some very good reviews and did a good business in the local market of Chapai Nawabganj. This was beyond their expectation. It was an inspiration in Rajiul's life. Rajiul started his career as a screenplay writer in 2013-2014. Radio Bangla Adelaide (RBA) first hired him to write program script for their weekly shows. First, one of his poems got selected to be recited and soon he got the opportunity to work as a script writer. It influenced him a lot in a very positive way. Beside of this, in that year he came up his poetic identity when one of his poems was recited in Banglar Gaan O Kotha (BGOK). BGOK is a program which is being on aired by Saskatchewan Community Radio, Canada. These two points helped him and also inspired to write more. In this middle period of time, he worked as a lyricist in an Australian Metal Rock Band named, 'Shadow Realm'. He wrote a song named, 'Let There Be Blood'. This song was about a kind of protest against every wrong things which are happening all around the world. In 2014, this song was released in Bangladesh under the banner of G-Series. The album name was 'Riotous 14'. 14 renowned Bangladeshi bands participated in this album and Shadow Realm was one of them. It was a huge hit. When, Rajiul was in college he worked with few production houses. He kept on writing stories for short films. But, none of his stories were turned into a complete film. May be, something huge was there waiting for him. In 2016, during Eid-Ul-Fitr two video fictions were on aired in TV Channel. One was 'Maasti Realoaded' and the another was 'Tini Amader Bokor Bhai'. Both of them were directed by very famous, talented and young director of this generation, Mabrur Rashid Bannah. Gaan Frendz was directing the music part. Rajiul got an opportunity to write theme songs for these two fictions. It was a very huge chance for him to prove himself. Finally, those songs became hit. He got chance to work with Underground Creative Factory (UCF) as a script writer and this is his profession now. So far, 9 video fictions have been released and all of these have got huge responses from the television audience. Rajiul has also written and acted in stage dramas (adaptation of Christopher Marlowe's 'Doctor Faustus' and 'In Love with Jane Austin). In spite of this, the photography career of Rajiul is very bright. So far, his photos have been exhibited in 14 exhibitions worldwide. His first photo exhibition was held in Palo Alto, California, USA. One of his photos was selected to be exhibited in 'Mobile Art Acamedy - 2015'. His photo taken place in 'Top 100 Runners-Up' list and he got the invitation to join the ceremony. Later on, he never looked back.His photos took place in exhibitions one after the another. He is also featured in few foreign photography magazines. A very well known online magazine from USA, 'Apogee' featured his photo in 2015. That photograph was titled 'Digitalis-ed Bangladesh'. That photo indicated the revolutionary change in the IT sector and technology in Bangladesh. 'The Picture Professional' is a renowned photography magazine which is published from USA. One of Rajiul's photograph titled 'The Asking Boy' was featured in it's May 2015 edition. He has been awarded as 'TOP 50 Dhaka Photographer' and 'TOP 80 Bangladeshi Photographs' from 35Awards 2016. Besides these, Smithsonian Mag from USA, Popular Photography from USA and SHOT Magazine from Portugal have published his tremendous works. Rajiul is working as a contributor in Getty Images and BuzzFeed.
