Sahil Bhardwaj

Sahil Bhardwaj is an Indian Filmmaker, Screenwriter and Actor known for his short films like Forsake (2018), Dazed (2018), That Time of the Month (2016) and documentary The Facebook Generation (2012) among many others. He worked as a child actor in 2004 television film 'Chal' Directed By Amitabh Srivastava which aired on Doordarshan. While doing theatre during his school and college days, he ventured into filmmaking by making short films. His films received recognition at various student and independent film festivals. After completing his Master's Degree in Film Studies from Ambedkar University Delhi, Bhardwaj went on to work as an Assistant Director in TV Shows and Feature films. Apart from being a filmmaker, he is also a qualified Film Curator from Film and Television Institute of India and has curated films for various international film festivals. He served in the jury of young curators at the UK Asian Film Festival as part of Young Curators Lab and has worked as the Film Market Programmer for Diorama International Film Festival.
