Nikola Sreckovic

Nikola Sreckovic is an award winning writer, director based in Sydney Australia who has made 5 short films over the past 3 years from his own scripts that he has developed. Nikola's cultural background hails from Bosnia and the historical conflict in that region informs a lot of his work in terms of how we consume and deal with violence in society and strong familial ties. Since graduating from JMC Academy in 2017, Nikola has strongly developed his writing which is influenced by film noir, dark comedies stories of war and conflict, and by filmmakers such as Emir Kusturica, Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, Matthew Vaughn and Michael Mann.
