Lakshay Gupta is Indian filmmaker and the founder of Gupta Productions born in New Delhi he studied filmmaking at Whistling Wood International he made his first short film on August 2017 Clean Up India which was a documentary he was director-producer and editor it was shot on his iPhone 7 Plus it was about Swatch Bharat Abhiyan it was released on 15 August 2017 on independence day after a few months later he made his second short film it was romantic film called Promise some promises are made to be kept he was writer-director and producer everyone loved the film everyone said that it was an emotional and dramatic film after this he made his third film You And Me he is working on his upcoming film Change and other two films Avinash a story of teenage boy and We Are Rapist he will be director writer and producer of these films. And his film Promise got selected for Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival Awards 2019
