Kenyon McElway Jr. is a screenwriter, producer, and director born and raised in the Greater Detroit Area. Kenyon's first work is his self-financed short film, Gratuity, about a night-in-the-life of a waitress struggling to make ends meet. Kenyon began editing highlight tapes for high profile athletes and college recruits while still attending high school. He also created content for prep/amateur sporting platforms and football academies such as Sound Mind Sound Body and the Rising Stars Recruiting Academy. In 2018, he began freelancing for an amateur sports platform, Athlazon, which focuses on capturing sporting events featuring high profile athletes. In 2019, Kenyon directed One-Shot, a proof-of-concept short film which was completed the following year.
