Domingo Pisón

Domingo Pisón Capellán was born deaf on May 10, 1991 in Madrid, Spain. He graduated in Audiovisual Communication from Rey Juan Carlos University (Madrid) in 2014. In his last year of his university career, he directed his first short film, El despertar de una mariposa (2014), for which he won the award for 'Best Direction' (2016) and a nomination for 'Best Novel Director Nomination' (2018). He began his professional career as a press and television editor in companies such as Globomedia, Centro Dramático Nacional (CDN) and Televisión Española (TVE) until working in the production department in his first film, El silencio del pantano (2019).
