Born and raised in Orange County, California, Lauren desired to pursue a career in film and television after seeing her sisters perform as stunt doubles in The Cat in the Hat (2003). With two ready-to-go stunt double look-alikes built right into the family, what could possibly hold her back? Driven by her love of storytelling, Lauren was drawn to the stage her freshman year of high school. Three years later she traveled to Terezin, Czech Republic where she took part in an international theatre festival examining the power art has to transcend persecution. Through collaborating with students from eight different countries, Lauren learned the importance that storytelling and theatre have on creating change in the world around her. Her passion to combine her love of the arts with social justice work led Lauren to attend Loyola Marymount University where she is a senior Theatre Arts Major. In Spring 2019, Lauren once again returned to Europe where she studied in Bonn, Germany at the Academy for International Education. In addition, Lauren trained with Ilya Bocharnikov of the Moscow Art Theatre and at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb, Croatia. Following her training, Lauren performed in a production of Spring Awakening in Bonn, Germany as the stilt walking maniacal professor, Hart-Payne. Most recently, Lauren played the role of Charlie in Jamie Kolbrenner's short, Gemini Rising (2020), as Charlie. With her family's support, Lauren is eager to see what the future holds for her in the entertainment industry following graduation in Spring 2021.
