Storytelling has defined me ever since I was of young age. I worked my way trough elementary school with a red notebook full of stories that i wrote, inspired by an mp3-player i was carrying around with soundtracks from my favorite games and movies. Around middle school I started directing my friends to play in childish, fantasy rich films. I loved entertaining people. That's where it started for me. On a later age my father passed away, I remember myself being too young to comprehend my loss. So I did not cry back then. In a later point in time that scenario kept haunting me, why did I not cry back then? Even though I am feeling so much grief and pain at this moment. This kick-started my interested in psychology.. Why do we feel emotions? Why do we think the way we think? Why does everyone react to loss in a different way? That keen interest in psychology quickly and inevitably converted itself into philosophy. Now I combine my past desire to entertain people, with my endless curiosity for existentialism. These two together give me the drive to write and direct films that tackle questions of humanity whilst being entertaining and accessible for everyone
