Stephen Montgomery

Stephen Montgomery is an award-winning producer and has worked on multiple award-winning, highly commended, and nominated productions. His twenty years experience worldwide sees him excel in unique and challenging shoots. He is dedicated to ensuring that rock-solid technology, combined with formidable creativity, go hand in hand to deliver time and time again. His workflows developed to maximise the potential from typically cinematic equipment has meant that Vivid Broadcast, the company he started with co-director Rory Springthorpe, has been sought after in its use of what has become know as Cinematic Multicam across multiple genres including fashion and music. This is particularly true in the Branded Content marketplace where Stephen believes that every reason to watch must be catered to. Brands include Stella McCartney, Burberry, FarFetch, Cartier, and Valentino. Stephen cut his teeth on live broadcast music performances and has fulfilled pivotal production roles on shoots for some of the world's biggest artists including Coldplay, Elton John, Sigur Rós, Robbie Williams, Paul McCartney, Ed Sheeran. The past couple of years have seen an increase in remote production with live music performances, and much other content, directed and vision mixed in real-time from the other side of the globe - and experiencing it as if they were right there in the same venue. Stephen feels the key to any production being a success is all members of the crew having the right tools and support to do their job. He is passionate about the message a film portrays and is drawn to productions that tell stories of paths to justice, answers to poverty, and restoration for the brokenhearted. Stephen lives in Sofia, Bulgaria, and is a frequent flyer and telephone user.
