Yusif Jafarov

Yusif Jafarov was born in the city of Baku, Azerbaijan. After completing his secondary studies in 2009, he entered the Azerbaijani Academy of Sport, majoring in sports tourism management. During his studies at the Academy of Sport, he became interested in the profession of motion design and took a course at the Real Time School in Moscow. He became so interested in the profession of motion designer that, after graduating from the Academy of Sport in 2013, he began working for McCann Baku. During his years working there, he participated in the production of numerous advertisements for several renowned global companies. Always trying to learn new skills, he became interested in directing. He participated in the production of several music videos, serving both as a director and a scriptwriter. His passion to learn more about the entire process of filmmaking led him in 2018 to study at the New York Film Academy. Currently, he lives in Los Angeles, California.
