I came into this world with the obstacle of being partial blind already in front of me. It was assumed I wouldn't be able to see the world as everyone else did, which is true but irrelevant to me. I don't see the world like everyone else but I believe you don't need perfect vision to be able to appreciate life's many compositions. Film holds a different meaning for me. I rely on my other senses to achieve the necessary emotional pull that holds a scene together. When I walk on a set the various textures need to feel right; the way the light cascades on my skin, how the floor echoes from my footsteps, and even the smell of the set matters. This standard of living and creating hold me to a precise thought process which in turn forces me to work harder. I'm willing to do what's needed because I'm used to working hard, it's how my whole life has transpired. I love making movies and its my idea of fun. If it's not fun, you're doing it wrong.
