Ines Rose

Ines Rose is a Belgian actress, art director, string instrumentalist, and writer. She was born Mwayuma Ines Rose-Marie Veronique Mateger-Massa in Brussels, Belgium to Cathy Mobunga (a Congolese aristocrat) and Dr. Camille Mateger-Massa (a chief anesthesiologist & ophthalmologist). Rose attended both the British International School and the American International School in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, later earning her business degrees from Arcadia University in Philadelphia, USA, and Hult International Business School in London, England. Rose started seriously writing and acting in her teen years, leading her to perform in musicals and plays, before starring on-screen in her adult years. Her professional career began in French-American indie shows like Exposed, A Girl Is A Gun, Playground, Tycoon, Superhigh, Virgin, and Junior (from what was a media productions company by Vice called Black Pills). Rose then found her way into doing cameos in several pop-culture TV series such as Chewing Gum and 2 Broke Girls. Although still unsigned, she has recently played a minor role in Amazon Prime Videos' Selah and the Spades (2019). When it comes to the arts, they were always a way for Rose to express her creative side and she has made a name for herself as a published poet, talented vocalist, and visual artist outside of the dramatic arts. She started playing the piano at age 9, and the violin at 11 years old. Since then she has added the harmonica, the banjo, and the ukulele to her repertoire (in chronological order). However, business just seemed a natural choice as Rose is a peripatetic polyglot. She has lived and traveled around Europe, the Middle East, and North America resulting in her varying fluency in 11 languages.
