Body and Soul was an American Hip-Hop recording group formed in the 1980s and comprised of two female rappers: Dee Barnes and Rose Hutchinson, both from Los Angeles, California. The group recorded and released their debut EP in 1989 on Delicious Vinyl Records that included the hit song Body and Soul: Dance to the Drummer's Beat (1989), a remake of the Herman Kelly classic infused with Go-Go rhythms by the legendary Go-Go band Trouble Funk.
