Barbara Riethe

Barbara Borba Martins Riethe known as Barbara Riethe is an actress, screenwriter, director and producer. She was born in October, 27th 1991 in the south of Brazil. She os known for her versatile acting and performances in different languages. Bachelor in Performing Arts at USP, Barbara starred and scripted the feature film "2", that debuts in 2020 at Cinemark/Turner worldwide. Awarded best actress at the Los Angeles International Film Awards, and more than 15 other awards and nominations. She performed, produced, scripted and directed the film "Alone", awarded as best director and best actress at the Top Shorts Film Awards and best director and best narrative script at the Los Angeles Film Awards. In 2019, she scripted and starred in the film "Tell me no lies", premiere at Cine Petra Belas Artes in São Paulo. She has a 10-year career in theater and she signs the script for the series "Plane Earth", and the feature films "The House Where Nobody Sleeps" and "Borderline" . Barbara is also known for producing and directing films and for worrying about the insertion of new actors and talents in the movie industry. She is the youngest member of the Academy of Literature, Sciences and Arts of Londrina.
