Damien Le Bagousse is a French director, scriptwriter, editor and photographer. Born on January 18, 1994 in Vannes, Brittany, he started crafting audiovisual experiments with friends at age 14, a moment of self-discovery and personal accomplishment that allowed him to progressively find his style and broaden his artistry. He then proceeded to move from his hometown to the city of Rennes, shortly after graduating from high school in 2013. At that time, he attended the University of Rennes 2, where he thoroughly studied the intricacies of theatre and cinema, while simultaneously encountering Paul Marques Duarte, with whom he partnered to co-direct a short film essay during an academic workshop. He was ultimately qualified with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual and Performing Arts in 2016. Up to this point, he directed and wrote the screenplay treatments for a collection of pictorial endeavors, including self-produced Alter Ego (2015) and Et que le reste du monde disparaisse! (2017), both assisted by local junior studio company Black Sheep Production, as well as computer animation projects, music videos and promotional clips.
