Lee Lawson

Lee was born in 1974 in Portsmouth, United Kingdom. At the tender age of 16, he joined the British Army and was recruited into a Military Intelligence role where he served in the UK, Cyprus, Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Germany, and The Falkland Islands. After those 6 years, Lee switched to a Bomb Disposal role for 4 years, again serving in Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom. Lee's final role in the Army was in a Cyber Security position for a civilian agency where he learned how to secure and hack computer networks. It was at this point that Lee decided that 12 years in the Army was enough and 'got out'. He then spent the next few years working (legally) as a computer hacker and a cybercrime forensic investigator and finally leading a team of 'hacker hunters'. All of these roles inspire Lee's writing. Allowing him to draw upon personal experience gives an authentic voice to his work.
